Chelsea Smith, director of operations, has never had two days of the same work. Balancing multiple teams, she enjoys juggling her responsibilities in an effort to help the company grow.

Describe your role at Disruption Advisors. What does your typical workday look like?
I am the director of operations. Under operations also sits the legal, finance, and HR teams. Everyday is different for me. Some days I may be focused on contracts or forecasting while other days are spent on our systems and processes. Overall, my main focus is helping to create a foundation through process, systems, and policy to aid in the growth of the company.
What is your favorite part about working at Disruption Advisors?
I enjoy that I am helping to build something, and I like the people that I work with. We have a creative team that thinks outside the box and values our clients.
Tell me about you. What are your passions, hobbies, and interests?
In my free time, I like to ski, raft, camp, and travel. I love being outdoors in the mountains. I love skiing on the perfect powder day, rafting the river in the summer, and spending warm days on the beach. I also like experiencing other cultures, and I never miss an opportunity to go on a trip with friends.
